Over the past 60 years, Harlick and Co. has received hundreds of photographs from skaters appreciative of the great skating boots they have enjoyed wearing.We have pictures from long ago, to the present skaters and stars. But there is something special about the older ones.
We think these photographs give an insight into the great history of ice skating.
We decided it would be fun to share some of these photos with our guests to our web page. Some photos go back to the 30's, 40's and 50's.
If you find your own picture here, Let us know how you are doing. Or it may be of someone you know. Let them know we have not forgotten them and we would like to know how they are doing as well.
Some of the skaters we recognize, and some we know and still make boots for. However, some of them we do not know or can not read the signature. If you recognize someone in the photos and we do not have the name or have misspelled a name, please e-mail us and identify the skater by the number associated with it. We would also like to give a brief description of the skater and if it is known, what they are doing now.
Some of our friends may no longer be with us, but I think they would enjoy knowing that their legacy goes on.
